St. Petersburg Movers

When moving to a new area, it’s easy to hide away in your home after the moving company leaves. There’s a lot of stuff to unpack! Not to mention, you’re unfamiliar with the area and likely have few friends to spend time with.

Don’t let these be the reasons why you don’t get out there and explore Tampa!

Here are a few fun things to do after the St. Petersburg movers have left and you need a break from unpacking boxes.

Check out the Tampa Theater

Start small when it comes to adventuring the Tampa area and check out the Tampa Theater first.

This beloved landmark opened all the way back in 1926 and has been lovingly maintained ever since. It contains majestic Wirlitzer organ pipes and flamboyant statues of flowers, stars, and gargoyles. Catch a movie or check out the schedule of community events to experience the theater in all its glory.

Ride One of the Top Coasters in the U.S. At Busch Gardens

If you’re looking for something to do that’s a bit more thrilling than sitting in a movie theater, plan a trip to Busch Gardens. There’s plenty to do in the park. Just make sure you don’t forget to ride SheiKra.

The line may be long, but it’s well worth the wait. As one of America's first dive coasters, it's still considered one of the most thrilling coasters in the U.S., even if other coasters have surpassed it with new world records in speed and length.

Take the Kids to Feed the Giraffes

A heart-stopping ride like the SheiKra isn’t a good choice if you have kids, but the Lowry Park Zoo is!

Not only can you get up close and personal with interesting animals like manatees and tigers, you can also feed the giraffes. Stand on the feeding plateau and wait for one of these huge creatures to lumber over and take a piece of lettuce from your hand.
