At Spirit Movers, we believe it’s important to give back to the communities we so proudly serve, which is why we annually participate in Girl Scout Cookie Day. As a moving company that offers comprehensive logistical services, we couldn’t wait to lend our receiving and distribution tools and expertise to our local Girl Scout troops and their worthy cause.

Girl Scout Cookie Day

This year’s event took place on Saturday, February 11th with our distribution services beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. We received over 23,000 cases for Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, and Port Charlotte—approximately 276,000 cookies! Employees arrived at our Sarasota location beginning at 4:00 a.m. to ensure that all the orders were pulled, loaded, and ready to go so they would get to Venice and Port Charlotte in time.

In order to make this year's event a success, we:

●  Received and stored boxes until distribution

●  Pulled orders for each individual troop in Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, and Port Charlotte

●  Created an inventory of orders when the troops arrived to pick them up

●  Loaded orders into the vehicles for safe and secure transport

We’ll continue to take refill orders from the troops until the end of the selling season. In addition to providing these services to our communities, our dedicated and skilled movers can help you out with any shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution needs you may have.
