One such company is Sarasota Memorial Health Care System. As the area’s largest healthcare provider and one of its largest employers, Sarasota Memorial’s moving and storage needs range from small to very large projects and often include sensitive equipment. 

Our partnership with Sarasota Memorial first began with a small commercial move back in 2003. The health system had been searching for a trustworthy company to handle all of its relocation, storage, and distribution needs, and ultimately chose Spirit Movers, one of the area’s few trusted providers that offers all of these services. 

We were eager to work with an organization that serves as a cornerstone for this community, but never could have anticipated all that we would accomplish together over the following 15 years. 

Projects Evolve in Scope and Size

In the beginning, we assisted Sarasota Memorial with small, in-house office moves. These jobs involved moving sensitive equipment from place to place without creating too much downtime for staff. Since our first few successful moves for Sarasota Memorial, we’ve tackled every type of moving, storage, and distribution project imaginable: everything from preforming a complex large-scale, multi-office relocation to simply moving a patent lift from one campus to another and even corporate relocations for Sarasota Memorial physicians and staff. In fact, Spirit Movers was proud to recently assist Sarasota Memorial with its relocation needs during a medical practice expansion at Waldemere Medical Plaza.
